Ellis Coleman will be competing at the Curby Cup hosted at Lyons Township High School May 19th at 5 PM. Admission to the event is $10 and can be purchased through The Curby Cup website.

The Curby Cup is an event held in commemoration of the late Jacob Curby. On January 25, 2010, Jacob Curby passed away in his sleep. Jake was an international Greco-Roman wrestler. He was 25 years old, living and training in Boise, Idaho at the time of his death. He had lived at the Olympic Education Center in Northern Michigan for many years before that, attending Northern Michigan University. He wrestled for the New York Athletic Club and had attended Lyons Township High School. In High School, he had battled through cancer and epilepsy to excel in wrestling.

The event will feature the 2012 US Olympic Greco-Roman wrestling team vs. the 2012 Greco-Roman wrestling team of the nation of Georgia.
